On September 4th, 2025, DeMao and Agen hosted a groundbreaking for the new Jewel-Osco grocery store in Saint John, Indiana.
The more than 70,000-square-foot store includes Starbucks, Deli & Hot Foods, Sushi, Bakery, Produce, Meat & Seafood, Beer, Wine, & Liquor, Pharmacy & Drive Up and Go, serving as a one-stop shopping destination for residents.
Town of Saint John officials, community leaders, and project partners gathered for the ceremonial turning of the soil, marking a milestone in the continued growth of the Wicker Avenue retail corridor in this growing community.

Scheduled to open in 2026, the store will mark Jewel-Osco’s 190th opening.
The Peterson Company will serve as the general contractor for the project, with established experience in large-scale commercial work and a disciplined approach to quality.
